I am searching for prospects of a work/live flat at current – my apartment is preciously small – but not condusive for the large-scale, expressive, textural and collage-like painting I have been interested in creating. So at present – I am on-stall. If you have any recommendations, please let me know!
Here are some amateurishly photographed past works of mine:
An Awakening in Basilicalility 6′x4′ – arcylic, gouche, oil, graphite and water on canvas
An emulation of Venezia 3.75′x2′ – the first thing I ever painted in water color – I have a whole book from my studies in Florence I have not yet photographed. I love cypress trees.
A momentum of perspective – 3ish’x3ish’ – 3 canvases merged into one and positioned at an angle that confuses, afflicts and intrigues the eye.
Ascending into the light of inspiration 5.5′x3.5′ – a montage of paint, paper towel and emotion – 5 hours spent emerging into the light of a painting, never to be touched by a brush again, it was a moment.
An emulation of Van Gogh’s Cafe Terrace at Night 3′x2.5′ – the first thing I ever painted – Van Gogh taught me to paint.
An reconfiguration of Gustav Klimt’s work 5′x3′ – one of the most amazing painters I’ve ever studied. Painting this was like summoning a master from the dead for a weekend in 2004.
Dali in a windy landscape and a naive girl – 3′x2′ – a study in perspective
A bridge to heaven 4.5′x3′ – I was very inspired by the artistic and painterly qualities of the film “What dreams may come” at this time…
Spiritual submerging of a faith 5′x3′ – in the hands of my high school youth group still…
Buddhism in a box 3′x2′ – An attempt at Asian inspired watercolor
Me at 17 3′x3′ – so innocent…
